Showed up at Sky Powersports in Lakeland last weekend (Saturday) for a Toys for Tots ride. A beautiful day.My DR650 loaded and ready.
Had a Ural rider show cool bike. Rock the owner of Sky took us out on his beautiful Victory.
Twins.
Wish I took more pics but got busy riding. Left Lakeland went across Rockridge up Hwy. 33 to 50 all the back roads Zepherhills Dade City and back. Left with about 15 riders came back with maybe 20. Everyone was out riding it was great.
Meeting at Sky again Sunday the 9th kickstands up at 10:30 heading to Tampa and the winghouse Sky's buying lunch. Come on out anyone wanting to ride this Sunday.

I haven't ridden it enough to answer definitively, but after 500 kilometers or so, I'd say that it will require fairly consistent tinkering, but overall pretty reliable. Remember that that they are low tech, and made with the idea that Soviet privates could keep them running out in the middle of nowhere...... Think old VW bug on three wheels.

Old schools what I like. That's why I ride a DR650 just a speedometer and a motor.
