Hi All
Thought I would let everyone know about what happened last Friday the 17th.
A couple of kids (stupid young adults) tried to steel a couple of dirt bikes and a side by side from the Lake Washington area of Melbourne. Both were caught. This took place around 4:00 am that Friday morning. The side by side and one of the dirt bikes was returned to their owners. The other bike the Brevard County Sheriff's department could not confirm who the owner was. I did not get a picture of the bike but I'll try to describe it as I'm not up to date on dirt bikes. Red and White, most likely a Honda 250 or 450, had handguards on the handlebars, one was bent down (not sure if was like this before or happened during the attempted theft). Number plate on side was "25" (if I remember correctly). Bike looked to be in good shape. Other information I was able to extract from the Sheriff was that they were able to contact the third owner who sold it to a fourth owner through craigslist in Melbourne but could not remember the name of the person he sold it to.  So through logistics, if you are the fourth owner of a red and white honda with number 25 on the side plates, contact the Brevard County Sheriff's Dept. to schedule identifying the bike. They said you would have to show some sort of proof, preferably VIN numbers.
If anyone recognizes my poor attempt at description and who the owner is, please let them know.
