This was just posted on ADV as of yesterday.

Its not totally surprising as that bridge was showing some serious signs of being rotten.  I wonder if a bigger ATV or something tried to go over it?

This is what it looked like last time we crossed it.

What stinks though is its leads you to the next bridge

Soon after that is the very rutted road.  So this bridge being out pretty much knocks out all of this area or at least being able to do a loop through it.  Although Dave and I had our doubts on how bad the rutted road had gotten with all this rain.  Each time we went, the pass through was smaller and smaller.

That's what I was wondering?   I'd be up to help with that myself.

Only thing is that water there is deep.  Just guessing, but probably over 6ft or more there so standing in the water to work under the bridge probably isn't going to work?

Not sure how easy it would be to brace it back up?

I was afraid that was due to happen soon. The good news is the deer hunters that use this area built and maintained it as they are the primary beneficiaries of the bridge. They will prolly repair it as deer season is right around the corner. I haven't been thru there since your ride Dan. It was getting more and more "springy" each time I crossed it.

I rode to the bridge today and it is now worse than the pic. The left side is actually down into the water.

Good news is I have found a parallel route around it so this route is still doable.........more later.

glad to hear there may be a work around. I know I really enjoyed that section of trail when i was there with blue lightning, but not sure my 950 would enjoy going across that stretch with it like that. especially if it was wet.
