Think about us poor souls that can not make the Renfro run!

Happy Trails and splash a mud hole for me.

I am heading up as well, looks like I'll be going up by my self. If anyone gets a wild hair and wants to join me they are more than welcome.  Remember there is only two things that ever stop you, fear and common sense!!! Unfortunately I don't have much of either.

Yep!! Still looking for work.At the last minute they decided I needed a med. waiver to go back down for the winter so I am here being a professional M/C Bum. Figured I'd try and get as much riding in as possible to make up for the last 3 years of being "ICE" bound.

Yea, back in Renfro again!  Can't wait to ride on my new 2011 KTM 530EXC which has been made rideable by KTM & my dealer Volusia Motorsports - seems it had a defective battery, a split lower radiator hose and a carb that would not carb.  They stuck behind it and made me happy to ride KTM and patronize VMS!

OK, Renfro Saturday morning and it's a great day - sunshine and cool weather.  Eight miles out Bear loses his rear bearings (Got to get those lifetime seals) - same place he lost his front sprocket bolt last year - dang.  I ride back, get his truck & trailer and go get him.  We go to Trackside in London - a family-owned shop and they got him going.  Real nice folks!!  Too late to ride any more that day.

Sunday - again a nice day.  A little too muddy for me (Out of condition, I admit) and those rutted steep up & down trails wore me out.  Bike did very well - wish I had done so as well.

Anyway a good time and well worth the drive!

It was what I remember about Renfo,Technical!! I rode both days and only missed one section before lunch on Saturday. I skipped the Advanced sections, the normal route was enough for this fat old man. On Sunday I went out with the preriders Ron Miller & John Strange so we were the first ones on the route and it did seam a bit muddier that the day before. Sat. mileage was 109 miles Sun. was 89. The Husaberg worked perfectly up there, I only fell once on Sat. 4 or so on Sun.
It was definitely worth the trip!!
