Hey guys,
I just picked up a 2005 KLR650 for a dang good price because it didn't run. I few parts, hours, and beers later she runs like a champ.

I plan on using it mainly for commuting to work but wouldn't mind getting on some trails with it. It's mainly stock right now. I'm sure mods will be in the future.

I'm game for linking up for s ride here and there. I'm in Hinesville, just south of Savannah.

There's a couple of really good rides coming up pretty quick, the C-FL Everglades and Devils Creek. Come join in if you can! Enjoy the KLR!

Just a dead battery and a dirty carb and old fuel in the tank. I guess it sat for about a year. I changed the fluids, plug, lubed the chain, drained the tank, and cleaned the carb. Still needs a little work here and there, but overall runs just fine.

I paid $1700 for it, which seemed like a good deal.
