I recently checked out Houston Valley on my DR 650.  Got a few strange looks when I took my bike in to some tight areas.  Overall there are some good trails but beware of the "easy trails" turning in to intermediate.  Traffic also runs in both directions which can catch you off guard.  It would be way too much trouble for a KLR or and larger DS bikes.
