One of our favorite rides, Hurricane Creek Rd, is a nice old county road that isn't maintained.  Popular with the jeep crowd it has about 8 water crossings. Nice challenge on a 400-650 bike but I wanted to see if there were any takers to ride the big GS's down it.  Sure enough, along with myself on a 1200 I got 2 more suckered in on the big 1200 Adventures, we also had a couple of 400's along to help out just in case.

Okay LtDan...Hurricane Creek on a GS rates a 8 on the 1 to 10 scale and I applaud the effort. But I gotta tell you, doing Rough Butt on a KLR trumps it by at least 1 point.
It's a real same we can no longer ride Rough Butt.

I remember riding Hurricane Creek in '99... I remember a lot of places before they got "famous"! Even crashed there on '01 with my 620!

OK, my head's starting to swell.  I was on a little ole regular 1200, the guys that deserve the credit were on the big Adventures. And too, we we're going downhill, now uphill might be a different story.

Hey dude, You never "check your luggage"  Do you always do the
"carry on" thing?
Strange that I don't see any zip ties, JB weld, tie wire, duct tape or super glue any where on that Strom. Not used to seeing you this way Kevin!

But wait a minute....Do you have a wire feed welder tucked away in one of the cases you sneaky devil...

Is RB closed now too?  It's been over a year since I've been over there and that was about the only thing still open at that time.
