Question #2

I'll post a picture from a well know riding area and you guess the riding area. Not really interested in an exact location, but once you know the answer you can give all the intel you want on the location. Maybe even share pictures you have in the same general area.

Sample questions would be as such:
1. Is it North of Alabama?
2. Is it East of the Mississippi?
3. Is it above 3000' elevation. I may have to give you approximate info on this one.

Once we have a state pinned down, we can start narrowing it down to the specific location.

Try and avoid your initial desires and keep from looking it up on the internet when names are present in the picture (as in the 1st example) so we can keep the game going a little longer.

1st answer

Not technically at this point, but oh so close you could throw a rock and hit one.

Did you know there was a movie made about Fort Ti? George Montgomery starred in it in 1953.

"Set against the backdrop of the French and Indian war in colonial America, the British soldiers attempt to route the French Army from Fort Ticonderoga."

Sorry to spoil the fun. Next time -> less clues.

Yup, but this picture was from the New York side. Okay...you're proved you are worthy of some tougher locations..

The Ticonderoga Ferry provides historic scenic seven-minute daytime crossings on Lake Champlain between Ticonderoga New York and Shoreham Vermont, connecting The Lake George and Adirondack regions of New York with the Middlebury and Central Green Mountain areas of Vermont. We are located on Route 74 just off of Route 22 in Ticonderoga New York and off of Route 22A via Route 73 in Orwell or Route 74 in Shoreham Vermont.
