I dont want to make this a ride report but there is so much history in Gettysburg Pa.  Not only the battle but the city itself is loaded with facts.

I'm going to start our arriving in Pa. and then show the markers in Gettysburg.

The markers around the battlefield dont all have highlighted letters so they may be hard to read.

That's it for now. Here is a teaser......A Gold Wing at a Harley Shop. We also went to York Pa. and toured the Harley Manufactor Plant. They were really rude to me

many more later......

Way to go Randy. They were rude to you because they know there was nothing that could not show you anything to ever cause you to Abort the GW.

They should have spent some time picking your brain about why you love the GW instead of trying to piss you off. It's OK. All that would have come from it, would be a 2.2 litre (2200 CC) push rod V-Twin that would scramble your eggs and brain. Oh, and leak oil.

Hey, I was just kidden about the Harley Factory being rude. Actually they were very nice and i have to admit they do make a good machine now a days. If they could only get a Gold Wing to sound like a Harley that would be the ultimate bike.

We are home now after 2,170 miles. Now i got some pics to post!!!

Randy, I don't have a vote in it, but I don't see where the monthly bonus for October is limited to Southern States.
I say,if you're a DDS member and you've shown your DDS flag at any historic marker it should count.
Just my .02.

I think the "southern states" applies to the state parks only, no mention about the historic markers. They should all be "fair game". Besides, Randy needs some points!!

Whoever wrote these rules left lots of room for "interpretation"!! Hahaha
