Randy, Yes I can but you probably can't....[augie]

Just Kidding...The problem lies in the size you purchased...[dontgetit]  It seems that 17" and 21" readily accept most patching products, but the 18" size is not compatible with aftermarket vulcanization processes....[banginghead]    Sorry!

Seriously though...There is a vendor for small patches just for your type of situation...[ear]  They are made by Fuzzi Mfg Co. and can be easily found in the Tampa area. There are a couple of places on Dale Mabry that have them in all different sizes.  Just walk in and ask to see some of their Fuzzi Patches and you will be amazed at the selection...[oops]      Tell'em Swampy sent ya...[yoda]

I would only patch a tube if you had TOO. If not put a new tube in the tire and that way you not not have to worry about the patch.   (And you know how cheap  I am.)

Dam it Doug............that was a most serious question and you got to joke around with it.

Here you are talking about pluggin holes and I am talking about patching my tube.

I know you cant put something 18ishes into something 17ishes.

I even did a google search of Dale Mabry and Doug and google sent me to the Parliament House on OBT [ne_nau]

I googled Doug and vulcanization and google sent me to the Parrot lounge in Lakeland.[nono]

So now I still have this dilemma of patching or plugging.

Thanks for nothing pal!!!!!

On a "heavy duty" tube you have to patch both the inside and outside of the hole to retain the heavy duty aspect. [loco] It's the inside patch that tends to be really tricky to apply. [aaarg]You need a really small tool for that so maybe Doug could be of some assistance there........
