Have any fellow DDSers ridden Hard Labor Creek Park at Chipley, Fla?

If so, your thoughts............

I rode the Hare Scramble there earlier this year and the track layout was awesome.
I know this doesn't answer your question but if the park is anywhere near as cool as the track was, it's worth hitting.

You might pose the question to some of the guys on the FTR site.
I think Rocky Gavin? had something to do with the Chipley race.

Lots of single track. Designed by co-owner Dexter Leadbeater (GOOGLE Him; he is a motor-head from way back) Dexter and his partner are great guys and Dexter is a personal friend of Shane Watts and also an enduro rider. He is one of the reasons they created the 66+ year old enduro class. I think at 70 he still rides enduros.
Shane Watts held his 2 day class there last December. The park is in flat Florida so there are no real grade changes but the single track is designed with enduros in mind. There are also 4 wheeler trails but the park was closed to the public for the Shane Watts class. I have no idea how crowded it may get but it did not appear to get a lot of use.
You can dry camp there overnight for a small fee. Porta potties available.
The bottom line is; the owners are into motorcycles and love to talk motorcycles. They will thank you for your business. When you get tired of riding, ask Mr. Leadbeater if he knows anything about dragsters

Went to Hard Labor Creek Off Road Park Saturday. The YouTube videos don't do it justice. These are 40 miles of Very well maintained trails. Dexter Leadbeater is an awesome host and even gave us a guided tour of some of the trails. Even Got the chance to ride his 300 XC /W two smoke. That thing is LIGHTNING FAST!!

The destination...............Chipley, Fla.

The Office

The owner.....

These guys have come a long way in the short time they have been here. Brand new double bath house almost completed which will be nice. Full camper hookups and a double bike wash station. This would make a great weekend of camping and riding at very reasonable prices. Also working on a 1 mile MX track but looks to be a few months off on that. Highly recommended.
Dexter was very appreciative of our business and asked us to please come back. Class act all the way.

Steve, It was definitely worth it! Gotta go back.....

Keith, YES he does! Mentioned something about doing an endo at 240 mph!
