Ah, I was going to post this link to Gearing Commander, but I found it here in the search.

I changed the gearing on my 2009 Kawasaki Super Sherpa today, and always use this on-line tool for the guidance that it provides. Pretty neat. Worth a look if you’re thinking about making a change. If your bike isn't in their system, you can submit it.

9 years later and this app. is awesome. Just did some gear changing from Ohio single track to Florida sand and that is a great graph.
