Located along the roadway it's easily seen and has to be one of the most photographed places in the Tellico area. It's located on FR210. This is the road that runs along the Tellico River when you leave Tellico Plains, TN....

Bald River Falls

Bald River Falls with insane kayaker!

The bridge across the river was lined with rubber neckers ready to witness the carnage of kayakers plunging over the falls.  All were disappointed except the paddlers.
Fantastic dual sport riding around Telico Plains.

I have more pictures in front of Bald River Falls than I can count.  I'll have to find one with the Miata...

Hey Swampster, how did you get them to name a falls after you???
Seriously, nice pics. I have been there when the water was a solid falls across that gouged out area about half way down...now that would be a kayak ride for sure.   3D

Hey Swampy,
Did you ever wonder where that water comes from? We were on the other side of the hill and took this photo.

Just kidding. The water in the pipe is on it's way to here.

The funny part about this place is that I have pictures here of my DR650, 2 KLR's, and now the 950.....

Well known spot, but still very scenic and relaxing! That whole roadway is actually...
